Smith and Wesson 686 Plus Satin Stainless .357 Mag 6" 7-Shot 164198

Smith and Wesson 686 Plus

The Smith and Wesson 686 Plus is a DA/SA L-frame revolver chambered in .357 Magnum, .38 Special +P, and .38 Special with a 6 inch barrel and a 7-Shot cylinder. A stainless steel frame, barrel, and cylinder wear a satin finish and bring the package to 44.3 ounces and 11.94 inches overall. A red ramp front sight, an adjustable white outline rear sight, and an exposed hammer complete this medium frame revolver.

The 686 Plus adds a seventh chamber to the classic L-frame layout that has been used for duty and sporting work for decades. An exposed hammer supports single action shots, and the double action pull lets the shooter fire without cocking. An internal lock is built into the frame. Black finger grooved synthetic grips and a target trigger keep the hold steady when running full power .357 Magnum.

This 686 Plus suits range work, hunting, and personal defense when an all stainless seven shot .357 is preferred over a six shot K-frame. Shooters can practice with .38 Special and carry .357 Magnum in the same cylinder. It is a practical choice for anyone who wants a 6 inch satin stainless L-frame with adjustable sights and a synthetic grip.
